PowerSilicon will exhibit smart emotional lighting at MWC 2018.

PowerSilicon products are already being promoted at sold to visitors of the PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games in Gangneung branch of excellent enterprise gallery, and are doing so with considerable success.

PSAurora brand products are based on the Bluetooth communication method, which enables control of light intensity to color change to more than 16 million colors through smartphone application. In particular, the integration of nano CNT heatsinks and ICT enables not only improved efficiency and longevity but also stands out from its competitors with its smart full color emotional lighting.

Smart Portable, one of the key products of PSAurora, can be used regardless of the type of smartphone OS and the maximum output is 3W. Based on three colors of red, green and blue, it is possible to change into more than 16 million colors arbitrarily and is also portable. In addition, since the battery is built-in, it can be used outdoor and in camping places, which makes it very practical.

Smart UFO (Sound Illumination) and Smart Bulbs are basic smart lighting like the Portable. The colors also react to sound, which enables it to be used according to situation and atmosphere. In the dining room at home, it can be changed to match the color of the food, and it can also be used as interior lighting in cafés. Such products of PSAurora are also recognized internationally. Smart UFOs have already been certified in Korea (KC), Europe (CE) and Japan (PSE), and Smart Bulb and Smart Portable will also be certified at the end of November. In addition, the US (UL) certification is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.

Many companies have signed contracts with PowerSilicon after realizing their competent technology, including Kingshoo Holdings of Australiza, Shine Electronics of America, Blibli of Indonesia, Autobacs seven of Japan, Singapore, as well as domestic and other international companies. Currently, about 10 contract requests from companies in Dubai have been received.

Eung-Sun Kim, CEO of PowerSilicon, said that they “will continue to work with cloud servers using next generation communication modules such as Wi-Fi and Li-Fi as the expansion of the technology product advancing to overseas has become more visible.” “We will analyze the lighting use environment by region and country, to continue to develop the information into a big data source”, he explained. Also, he added, “we plan to exploit advanced markets such as Europe, Japan and the United States as 2018 as a year of overseas exploration.” At present, PowerSilicon continues to develop its proprietary technology, as well as jointly conduct research with Singapore and Israel to strengthen their competence.

Finally, Kim said that he would like to Apple as a role model. “We will be working towards a system where, in the future, PowerSilicon develops and cooperates with many domestic manufactures for production.”
