Daniel Wild, Director Marketing & Communications

The XL Slim size fridge, with its range of 15 appliances and features such as four doors, is my personal highlight of Haier’s 2019 innovations.

Roland Hagenbucher, CEO

We’re distancing ourselves from household consumer goods being mere devices, and taking them to new heights of becoming personal assistants and fostering sustainability.

Georg Walkenbach, CEO

We can now bring the sea breeze into your home. How does it work? It’s not just a humidifier, it’s a humidifier based on salt water. With the right ingredients, you can really create a climate as if you were at the sea at the dawn or dusk, when you really feel that your lungs are getting free and that you breathe free. That is the secret behind this new device. The air is pumped through the water, picking up the humidity as it goes along, as well as the salt. The air is also purified using UV, destroying all the pollutants that cause allergies… and the result is pure, ionised air, just like you find by the sea.

Gerwin van der Horst, Commercial Director Consumer Lighting

With Philips Hue Bluetooth, smart lighting is now even easier to control thanks to the Plug & Play device via Bluetooth. With the Hue Bridge Central, the light can also be controlled throughout the house via Zigbee. So our system is the most compatible on the market and for every claim as desired by the consumer controllable.

Groupe SEB

Astrid Duhamel, Head of Communication & Digital DACH

I am happy to be able to tell you that we have had a 7.8% growth in sales worldwide, with a big increase in sales in both Austria and Switzerland. We are the number one product in 11 different categories and we are working to increase this. We believe our success is because of our “Customer Centricity,” who we know want us to place the emphasis on sustainability, flexibility and individualism.

Lars Grothe, Marketing Manager

These product highlights will be presented by JVCKENWOOD at IFA 2019: The reception of DAB+ and FM transmitters as well as Bluetooth audio streaming are the domain of the Kenwood compact radio CR-M10 DAB and the stereo kitchen radio CR-ST50 DAB. The Micro HiFi system Kenwood M-918DAB is launched with the same functions plus an integrated CD player. Two-way loudspeakers provide an immaculate sound, the brushed metal front a noble look. And finally, the Kenwood DMX8019DABS multimedia moniceiver provides perfect in-car infotainment. Its integrated WLAN module enables wireless carplay for iPhones and wireless mirroring for Android smartphones for the first time.

Nuki Home Solutions

Martin Pansy, CEO

At the very top of our customers’ wish list is the ability to automatically open the front door in a multi-occupancy building. Nuki has always been committed to finding ways of replacing the conventional key. The Nuki Smart Lock enabled this vision to become a reality several years ago. With the introduction of the Nuki Opener this system will soon offer new and interesting possibilities for tenants and home-owners in multi-occupancy houses. With its app, the Opener is an easy, keyless system for opening the main entrance door to a house via the intercom. The Opener can be seen for the first time and exclusively at the IFA Innovations Media Briefings in Berlin.

WMF Group

Martin Ludwig, Senior Vice President Consumer Goods, International Strategy & Product Creation

For the WMF brand, IFA 2019 is all about expanding our successful Ambient and Lumero product series. The new products will not only come from well-known product categories, we will also be breaking new creative ground again. The Ambient series will be expanded with four innovations, while the Lumero series will for the first time include machines outside the coffee segment.

Marlies Gebetsberger, Personal Health Leader Philips Market DACH

From personal to personalised health, this is the focus of Philips new appliances. Phillips is searching for solutions that adapt to consumers, through better data-driven insights into health and access to professional expertise and advice.

Andreas Gelsheimer, Product Line Manager AEG Homecare

We believe in knowing, serving, and learning from customer’s needs to create cleanliness that goes deeper. Features that make life easier and can stand on their own as design objects are the key to our success.

Dr. Norbert Kotzbauer, CEO

METZ has been developing and manufacturing products in Germany for almost 80 years, making it one of the longest established consumer electronics companies in the country. Our TV sets are consistent with our “Made in Germany” promise and our commitment to providing top quality for our customers. Despite strong competition, we are still up there with the best and leading the way.

eQ-3 AG

Prof. Heinz-G. Redeker, CEO

Homematic IP, brand of the company eQ-3 from Leer, is Europe’s innovation leader in Home Control. It can look back on 40 years of pioneering work. The Smart-Home system Homematic IP is particularly user-oriented and reliable. As an open platform it covers the most important home automation functions such as heating control, alarm and security solutions as well as lighting, shading and weather, and can also be combined in many ways. The user data is completely anonymous, which made eQ-3 the only company to receive the VDE certificate for protocol, IT and data security. At IFA 2019 the Homematic IP app will be given a brand-new design and the product range will be expanded to include a solar-powered alarm siren for outdoor use.
