Mobiletech will introduce its 3D spatial information map service for smart city with the support from Yonsei University Startup Support Group at Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) held at the Dubai World Trade Center on Oct. 6 to 10.
This service provides the 3D spatial information map so that autonomous cars and drones can be driven safely.
It includes traffic lights, traffic lanes and even facilities that were not included in 2D maps.
Mobiletech not only just provides the information. It also collects the data by using the spatial information AI to make their system more accurate and diverse.
Also, it has developed high-precision map collection device to collect a large amount of date in short time.
Gulf Information Technology Exhibition first held in 1981 is a Middle East-African Information and Communication Technology (ICT) exhibition where 2,000 companies and 140,000 overseas buyers visit every year. A wide range of products from appliances, telecommunication devices, IT and Industry 4.0 gadgets are displayed. In addition, GITEX Future Stars will be held with 75 countries, 750 startups, 400 large investors and global accelerators.
Yonsei University Startup Support Group that participated in Gulf Information Technology Exhibition began its service in 1993 as a startup fostering center and has entered Yonsei University in 2011. It has been promoted as the startup support group, and is being run to encourage the students, faculty and researches to start business and develop technology in a systematic way.
