[K-Safety 2019 Preview] Purium to introduce life air appliances to prevent fine dust

Purium will be showcasing its outstanding safety equipment at 2019 Korea Innovative Safety and Security Expo held in KINTEX 1 on Sep. 25-27.

Purium is attracting attention as an innovative air home appliance that manages fine dust in everyday life easily by using IoT technology. It has acquired patent in Korea and received KC certification. In April, the company proved its technology by receiving the Excellence Award in the indoor dust reduction solution category at the World IT SHOW 2019 Innovation Award, which is Korea’s largest IT event.

Purium has five IoT sensing technologies that monitor indoor air quality 24 hours around its own cyclone turbo airshot, and it consists of smart air curtain, vitamin air shower (phytoncide, anion), LED air sterilization, smart dust collecting fan. Cyclone turbo airshots with NASA aerodynamics technology create and amplify soft winds to remove ultra-fine dust and harmful substances from the clothes, hair and objects of people entering the room.

When a person passes through Purium, it pauses and activates automatically. With the heat detector, it identifies human positions and body features to create the most efficient and safe airflow for the human body. Eight smart IoT cyclone fans remove ultra-fine dust, harmful substances and germs, and the fallen dust is vacuumed at ultra-high pressure of 10 times of air purifier then incinerated.

Also, by installing 16 eco-friendly LED sterilizers, indoor air is sterilized and dried, and even the mold is removed with the harmless LED medium wavelength light. Hepa filter and 4 carbon nanotube filters are used to maximize ultrafine dust removal and deodorizing effect.

Natural phytoncide and highly concentrated oxygen extracted from cypress tree from Jangseong improve the human comfort index by more than 30%. Four smart air curtains are lit during the entire process so that fine dust does not escape from Purium.

In the space where so many people come and go, the ultra-fine dust on clothes is blocked to overcome the limitation of air purifiers. It is a home appliance used in daily life and uses low power of 220V. It is also equipped with removable wheels so that it can be moved and reinstalled easily and conveniently.

The 5th Korea Innovative Safety and Security Expo was hosted by MOIS, MOTIE and Gyeonggi-do, and organized by KINTEX and KOTRA. It is supported by MSIT, MOLIT, MND, MAFRA, Korea Forest Service, National Fire Agency, Public Procurement Service, Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership, KEPCO, Korail, KESCO, EBS, KFI, KEITI, KISTI, ETRI, KOELSA, MIRECO, KOEN and KOMIPO.
