The Dubai government announced its plan to actualize the “Paper from to Paperless” plan at Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX 2019), which will run oct. 6-10 at Dubai World Trade Centre in UAE.
The Dubai government plans to develop the app Dubainow to actualize the “Paper from to Paperless” plan and eliminate all public paper documents in 12 sectors including visa, travel, education, real estate, public transport, employment and health.
Meanwhile, the Dubai Information and Communication Expo (GITEX) has established itself as a leading exhibition for the entry into North Africa and South Asia markets beyond the Middle East. Women participated and it is expected that about 100,000 people will visit during the exhibition.
This year’s GITEX is positioning itself as the major tech show to enter the Middle Eastern, North African and South Asian markets with 5G, future transportation, smart cities, robots, and AI as the main topics. More than 4,500 companies from 140 countries participated, and about 100,000 people are expected to visit the show.
