There is a way to drink the citron of Goheung and the tangerine of Jeju like black tea.
Kew & Leaves participated in 2019 COEX Food Week held Nov 20-23 to introduce herb tea with Korean sentiments.
Based on the experiences of Sung Hyun-jin, the CEO of Kew & Leaves who is deeply interested in European tea culture, established the black tea and herbal tea blending company to create a brand that reflects the Korean emotions.
He is working to transform specialty products found in various parts of Korea into herbal teas. The organic citron of Goheung-gun, Jeonbuk and the organic tangerine of Jeju Island is blended with various herbs to make the perfect tea. This effort was recognized and the company won the Belgian iTQi Award in 2017 and 2018, consecutively for two years.
Song Min-jae, who participated in the event, said, “Now that everyone is drinking coffee these days, concerns about caffeine and health are also arising, and the young people are aware of it. I would like the people to taste our tea, made with the Korean ingredients in Korean way and feel the difference in your body.”
2019 COEX Food Week, organized by COEX and sponsored by the MAFRA, RDA, Seoul Metropolitan Government, KFRI, Korea Agency of HACCP, and Korea Health Supplements Association, is participated by 1,000 companies taking 1,800 booths, having 60,000 participants. In addition to the exhibition, various programs such as IR pitching contests, investment consultations, global media promotion, domestic and overseas YouTube video interviews, networking parties, and media selection awards were prepared.
