[CES 2020] RGBLAB to showcase ARION, AI drone embedded platform

RGBLAB will participate in the world’s largest technology exhibition CES 2020 opening in Las Vegas on Jan. 7-10 to showcase its AI drone embedded platform ARION.

RGBLAB is a startup developing a drone artificial intelligence embedded platform for industries such as logistics, security and control. Since its founding in 2015, young people in electronics, computer science, design, and marketing have led the company.

AI drone embedded platform ARION’s main customers are individuals and companies looking to develop drones or services. ARION’s brain is equipped with NVIDIA’s latest embedded AI computing module for deep learning based real-time image processing. In addition, an external interface capable of HDMI input/output, USB3.0, Ethernet, I2C communication, and PWM control can be linked to various cameras, sensors, and other devices.

One of the key features is that it supports Linux operating system, and software development kit and source code are provided freely, so various drone service applications can be developed freely. It measures 60mm × 110mm × 360mm (width, length, height) and weighs 250g with aluminum case, which is smaller and lighter than the latest smartphones and is very easy to mount on drones.

The official said, “Drones include not only unmanned flying objects, but all unmanned mobile robots that operate on the ground, in the sky, and in the sea. There are many leading companies in the UAV sector in the US. We are looking for US buyers in robot research and investment. We are especially interested in being used as the platform for the AI drone competitions held in the US every year.”

The world’s largest IT show CES shows the trend of the global consumer electronics industry at a glance. It is hosted by Consumer Technology Association (CTA) and is held every January. AVING NEWS has reported the most news on CES, MWC, and IFA, the world’s three major tech exhibitions for the past 13 years. It is sending special reporters to CES this year to report major issues in the global market and introduce outstanding Korean companies to the world.
