With the support from Daegu Technopark Mobile Convergence Center, Vision Digitech (CEO Lee Jeong-deuk) will participate in the world’s largest technology exhibition CES 2020 opening in Las Vegas on Jan. 7-10 to showcase its antenna for smart key system.
This product is used to recognize the user and control the opening and closing of the door by receiving a signal from the user’s smart key at a short distance. In addition to the automobile field, it can be applied to agricultural machinery, special vehicles, and even wireless chargers.
The company develops and manufactures antennas using various frequencies according to customers’ demands, and since 2018, it has localized and developed the antennas that had been imported, and they are being supplied to Ssangyong Motors.
Vision Digitech said, “We want to create an opportunity to advance our technology to the world by finding a partner who can supply our products locally in the US market where the demands for agricultural machinery and heavy equipment are high.”
Daegu Metropolitan City has supported 196 ICT venture companies and SMEs in the area to enter the market for eight consecutive years since 2013, with the cumulative contract amount of $22.4 million as of 2019.
Daegu Joint Pavilion, organized by Daegu Technopark Mobile Convergence Center, will have 44 ICT convergence ventures and SMEs and three startups. Major programs include exhibitions, investor pitching, public relations with foreign media, and post-CES review conferences. In CES 2019, Daegu and Gyeongbuk Province exchanged MOU to run joint pavilion in CES for the benefits of both parties, and the joint pavilion has been set up in CES 2020. The world’s largest IT show CES shows the trend of the global technology issues and trends at a glance. It is hosted by Consumer Technology Association (CTA) and is held every January.
