TSK Engineering will participate in the 42nd International Exhibition on Environmental Technology & Green Energy (ENVEX 2020) to be held at COEX from June 17 (Wed) to 19 (Fri) to introduce its electric deionization device (EDI) MDI.
TSK Engineering (formerly Huvis Water) is a water treatment company specializing in manufacturing, installing, and operating water treatment systems for large-scale industrial plants based on R&D centers and manufacturing plants, based on Korea Water Industry founded in 1959. In 2019, it became a subsidiary of TSK Corporation, and its parent company, TSK, is a joint venture of Taeyoung E&C, SK E&C, and Samyang Group.
An official said, “We have established a reputation as the no. 1 water treatment company in Korea through excellent original technology, outstanding professional manpower, and making major facilities in-house, including about 100 water treatment-related patents. We are not satisfied with this, and we will make the world more convenient and filled by developing new technologies and nurturing human resources.”
MDI to be introduced this time is its electric deionization device (EDI), which is a device that produces ultrapure water with high purity using ion exchange resin, ion exchange membrane, and DC power. After acquiring the patent for the “cylindrical electric deionization device” in 2000, it began the first commercial operation of MDI (EDI) in Korea in 2001 and the first delivery of nuclear power plants in 2009. In 2019, it completed the development of ultra-pure water MDI (EDI) and entered the ultrapure water market in full force.
Marking its 42nd year this year, ENVEX 2020 has been serving as the business venue every year to help domestic environmental companies develop domestic and overseas markets. It has attracted 1,000 overseas buyers to provide business matching with the exhibitors in Korea.
