Preview in Seoul 2020 to open as O2O exhibition from Sep 7 to 9

To provide useful help to the textile and fashion companies in Korea and overseas experiencing reduced marketing and sourcing opportunities due to COVID-19, Korea Federation of Textile Industries (KOFOTI, Chairman Seong Ki-hak) is holding Preview in SEOUL (PIS) 2020, Korea’s textile trade exhibition in O2O (Online to Offline) format.

In its 21st session, PIS will be held in COEX (Hall A and B1) for three days from Sep. 7 to 9, and considering that it is difficult for overseas buyers to make physical visit to the show, online exhibition (e-Preview in SEOUL) will also be held.

e-Preview in SEOUL can be found on the PIS website. It consists of 3D concept diagram, 3D trend forum hall, marketplace, and live streaming.

In line with the main theme Susnovation (sustainability + innovation), 3D Trend Forum Hall will be introduced in four themes (Vegannovation, Denovation, Renovation, Trans`novation). Also, by using 3D virtual clothing experts, 3D virtual clothing will be displayed in videos and look books.

Marketplace will provide detailed information of the main products of exhibitors with photos and videos, and Live Streaming will deliver the vividity of offline exhibition halls with sketches of exhibition halls and interviews with exhibitors and buyers.

KOFOTI actively supports untact consultation between exhibitors and buyers. By strengthening the search function in e-Preview in SEOUL, buyers can browse products of interest and apply for video consultation. In addition, we plan to recruit companies from exhibitors who wish to to have representatives will have marketing specialists to present their companies and products.

In addition, diversified digital contents like SNS promotion by influencers and V-commerce by cooperation with famous online platforms will be the standard for exhibition marketing activities that can overcome physical and temporal limitations in the post-COVID era. .

In PIS 2020, about 550 booths from 330 companies will participate to showcase the latest innovative technologies and products like new yarns, eco-friendly and functional materials, sub materials, DTP, fashion and lifestyle.

In the situation where most of global textile and fashion trade shows have either been canceled or postponed this year due to the COVID pandemic, PIS 2020 is expected to provide new business opportunities for exhibitors and broad sourcing options for buyers.
