[BCB 2020] Hwasu Company introduces citron pale ale and porter beer

Hwasu Company participated in Bar Convent Berlin (BCB2020) in Berlin, Germany held as an online exhibition from Oct. 12 to 18, and introduced its citron pale ale and porter beer.

Hwasu Company is a brewery that has been brewing craft beer for 16 years. Currently, it also supplies canned beer to department stores and marts, and is a company that supplies craft beer from Hwasu Brewery to various stores nationwide.

Its specialty is producing a total of 11 types of craft beer based on unique recipes and brewing techniques. Its main beers are citron pale ale, which won the gold medal in the 2018 International Beer Cup Fruit Beer category held in Japan in 2018, and Stout and Weizen, which won the grand prizes at the Korea Liquor Awards in 2015 and 2018 respectively.

The official said, “The citron pale ale introduced in this exhibition further enhances the texture and flavor of the wheat beer Weizen. It is a beer that delivers a pleasant feeling of happiness by giving a subtle odor with its unique aroma and high alcohol content.”

He continued, “Porter beer gives the feeling of drinking wine with a heavy body. It gives a clean and hot aftertaste.”

The International Bar and Beverage Trade show (BCB2020) is an exhibition of the alcoholic beverages and the beverage industry with a long history, and people in the bar and pub industry participate in various related programs. Due to COVID-19, it will be held online this year, and a series of exhibitions in the UK (Imbibe), Brazil, and the US will also be held at the same time, attracting buyers from all over the world.

As a part of the export consortium project replacement project, KBIZ gave support to participate in BCB2020 in an effort to develop overseas sales channels for small and medium-sized enterprises that are going through difficult times due to the COVID-19 pandemic and enhance export vitality.
