FBG Korea will be introducing its fiber optic grid sensor at the International Photonics Industry Exhibition and Conference 2020, which will be held Nov. 19-27 at KAPID online non-face-to-face consultation room and the exhibition homepage.
The company staff said, “FBG Korea uses its own original technology to use Fiber Bragg Grating Sensors for the purpose of detecting various hazards in structures in advance and using the society-based infrastructure safely and long in preparation for various social disasters. In addition, we are providing effective structure maintenance solutions through sensor installation and monitoring.”
He then said, “We have developed a fiber optic grid sensor that uses the principle and phenomenon of light propagation within the optic fiber. The optical fiber sensor was installed in various civil structures such as tunnels, dams, bridges, ships, and power plants, and was manufactured to measure the safety of the structure using a measurement system.”
