On August 23rd (Thurs), Boud showcased ‘OPPY’, a lifestyle camera, in the MIK 2018 Conference & Networking Party at the K Hotel in Yangjae.
OPPY, which was shown in this exhibition, is designed in the shape of a human eye, represents space, and is designed to be able to freely bend without extra accessory equipment. Through this, users can film or take photos from any position, enabling them to place the camera anywhere, and makes it very convenient for consumers to take photos or videos through the lifestyle action cam.
A Boud official said, “Existing action cams were uncomfortable to possess and were combined with multiple equipments, which made them heavy and difficult to use. This inconvenience limited the use of these cameras in taking photos or videos,” and continued to explain that, “This product was developed into a flexible selfie stick, to solve the shortcomings of existing products, and to provide convenience and joy in life through being eco-friendly and designed in the form of space.”
Meanwhile, this event was hosted by global news network ‘Aving News’, a media partner of 100 exhibitions ever year and of MWC and IFA, one of the world’s top 3 IT/Tech/home appliances fair, and was jointly organized by Vietnam’s state-owned media Vietnam Plus, fandom-based video platform SEESO, China’s first IT portal YESKY, and influencer marketing platform ASIX.
