BTMEDI introduced a web-based global health care service platform, ‘KOREAMEDIS.COM’ in the ‘MIK 2018 Conference&Networking Party’ held last August 23 (Thu) at The-K Hotel, Yangjae.
The medical tourism platform introduced in this event is a medical tourism service that links foreign patients who wish to receive surgery or treatment from the excellent medical staff of Korea, with the related specialized hospital. Not only does it target foreigners who need treatment, but also all those who wish for health maintenance, recovery or improvement. It overcomes boundaries and distances to share medical consultation cases and medical information.

This platform provides foreign users with various consultations regarding illnesses, a one-stop service from medical consultation to reservation, and multi-language medical interpretation and translation by verified specialists. Additionally, BTMEDI has successfully transformed and expanded the existing offline services of ‘KOREAMEDIS.COM’ developed in the first half of the year to online services. Through this, it is planning to expand its business of providing a customized solution for illnesses to foreigners staying in Korea to South East Asia and China.
A representative from BTMEDI said “While most existing medical platforms focus on beauty and plastic surgery, our company collaborates with the major general hospitals of Korea to provide professional and specialized medical services including treatments for severe diseases such as cancer treatments, artificial joints, organ transplants and others. We provide not only medical services, but a total service that covers the flight, hotel, and tourism altogether to foreign patients who wish to receive treatment in Korea.”
Meanwhile, this event was hosted by global news network ‘Aving News’, a media partner of 100 exhibitions ever year and of MWC and IFA, one of the world’s top 3 IT/Tech/home appliances fair, and was jointly organized by Vietnam’s state-owned media Vietnam Plus, fandom-based video platform SEESO, China’s first IT portal YESKY, and influencer marketing platform ASIX.
