Safeon introduced its smart safety swing system to prevent accidents at 2019 Korea Innovative Safety and Security Expo held in KINTEX 1 on Sep. 25-27. This system checks whether the workers at the industrial and construction sites have fastened the safety swing hooks to prevent various accidents, and helps managers efficiently manage the wearing of safety equipment by the workers, thereby eliminating disasters and establishing an efficient working environment. In addition, it is possible to check whether both normal scaffolding pipes and ropes are fastened or unfastened. It is a new concept of accident prevention system that automatically alerts when a risk factor is detected within the working radius and remotely monitors the status of the entire workforce. The company official said, “Our product can be customized according to each manufacturer’s safety swing or hook.” “We have basic and special versions, in which the basic type specifies the information of fastening and non-fastening whereas the special version also features danger zone identification and safety helmet on or off.” The 5th Korea Innovative Safety and Security Expo was hosted by MOIS, MOTIE and Gyeonggi-do, and organized by KINTEX and KOTRA. It is supported by MSIT, MOLIT, MND, MAFRA, Korea Forest Service, National Fire Agency, Public Procurement Service, Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership, KEPCO, Korail, KESCO, EBS, KFI, KEITI, KISTI, ETRI, KOELSA, MIRECO, KOEN and KOMIPO.
