KNR showcased its thermal desorption system and auto sampler in International Exhibition on Environmental Technology & Green Energy (ENVEX 2016) held in Seoul Coex from May 31st (Tue) to June 3rd (Fri).
KNR’s TD APK 2350 is an instrument to analyze the VOC of the atmosphere. It basically concentrates the sample with low concentration to make it easier for the analyzer and other instruments to accurately measure the contents of the atmosphere, since low concentration often brings little to no data for the analyzer. Depending on the purpose, users can either connect APK2360, an automatic sampler that uses an absorption tube, or APK2600, which uses the bag-type air concentrator.
APK2360, displayed alongside the aforementioned product, is an automatic thermodesorber with an absorption tube designed to be connected with TD instrument. Through uniform heating through the sample delivery line, it prevents any loss in the absorption rate. It’s also equipped with an easy program for users to manage the samples effectively.
The multisampler unit, APK2600, can continuously analyze up to 15 sample bags at once. With non-reactive sample transfer line, the users can get accurate data without corrupting the samples.
Meanwhile, ENVEX 2016 is supervised by KEPA (Korea Environmental Preservation Association) and organized by KECO (Korea Environment Corporation), SLC (SUDOKWON Landfill Site Management), KEITI (Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute), and KEPA. ENVEX 2016 is the largest trade show in the environment tech and renewable energy industry in Korea, with over 2,000 eco-friendly technologies and products on display.
